Tiffany Holt, PTA
I am honored to nominate myself for the position of Secretary on the APTA TN Board of Directors. My commitment to our profession and to the advancement of the Physical Therapy profession has been the driving force behind my service for more than a decade.
I am passionate about giving back to the Physical Therapy community that has shaped my professional career. I will bring extensive experience, including nine years serving different positions on the Board, seven years as the PTA Caucus Rep, PTA Caucus Alt. Rep, and two years as Communications Chair working with the current Secretary. I am also currently serving as the Treasurer for Southeast TN Swimming. These roles have given me a deep understanding of our organization’s mission, the needs of our members, and the importance of strong, collaborative leadership.
The Board’s dedication to inclusion and its commitment to strengthening our profession are qualities I deeply admire. I value the essential role this position plays in supporting communication, organizational integrity, and strategic direction. I am eager to work closely with the Executive Committee to ensure that our processes remain clear, efficient, and aligned with the mission and goals of the TN Chapter.
Thank you for considering my nomination. I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving and advocating for our community
Rabekah Gramlich, PTA
Hi, I’m Rabekah Gramlich! I am a Physical Therapist Assistant in Knoxville, born and raised in the Maryville/Alcoa area. My journey to physical therapy wasn’t traditional; I spent nine years in retail before deciding to follow my passion for health and movement. I graduated from South College in 2017 and began my career in outpatient rehab, eventually returning to school to earn my Bachelor of Science (BSPTA) from PIMA Medical Institute in 2021.
I am currently a PTA at East Tennessee Spine and Sport, where I specialize in sports medicine and spinal care. My commitment to clinical excellence led to being named the 2022 APTA Tennessee PTA of the Year and serving as a 2023 APTA Leadership Scholar. I am deeply involved in our professional community, serving as the Knoxville District Chair for APTA TN and as a 2025 Tennessee Delegate.
To better serve my patients and athletes, I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Human Performance and Fitness at Trevecca Nazarene University. I am particularly interested in the intersection of clinical rehab and elite strength training.
When I’m not in the clinic or studying, I’m usually home with my husband and our two German Shepherds, who are our “kids”. I believe that whether you are recovering from surgery or training for a personal best, a combination of expert guidance and community support is the key to success.

I am honored to be considered for the role of Secretary for APTA‑Tennessee. With over 12 years of experience in physical therapist education and a clinical background in both acute care and outpatient orthopedics, I have built a career grounded in service, leadership, and a commitment to advancing the profession across Tennessee. I currently serve as an Associate Professor and founding Program Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Memphis, where I oversee program operations, accreditation processes, faculty collaboration, and curriculum development. These responsibilities require the attention to detail, organizational skill, and effective communication that are fundamental to the Secretary role.
At the national level, I have contributed to the advancement of PT education through service on the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) strategic panel on simulation‑based education and as a founding board member of the Simulation in PT Education Consortium. I have also presented nationally on clinical education and simulation-based pedagogy. Most recently, I was awarded a $1.6 million grant to build pre‑physical therapy career pathways in rural West Tennessee high schools – an initiative that reflects my dedication to expanding access and strengthening the future workforce of our profession.
I am deeply committed to fostering high‑quality education, mentorship, and advocacy for current and future physical therapists. My work requires clear documentation, transparent communication, and collaborative problem‑solving; skills that are essential for maintaining accurate board records and supporting effective governance within APTA‑TN. I value relationship‑building, accountability, and thoughtful decision‑making, and I approach leadership with a service‑oriented mindset.
As Secretary, I would bring a strong organizational skill set, a deep understanding of the needs of educators and clinicians, and a passion for supporting the growth of physical therapy throughout the state. I would be honored to contribute my experience and energy to the APTA‑TN Board and to help advance the association’s mission of supporting and elevating our profession. Thank you for your consideration.

I am running for a second term as Treasurer for APTA TN. and have enjoyed my time as I have filled the obligation of the remaining term of Jody Swearingen as Treasurer when he moved up to Vice President and then I was actually elected by the membership 3 years ago for my official first term as your Treasurer. I would like to serve you for a second and final term as your Treasurer to complete the job of keeping APTA TN. financially solvent and productive for the next three years, and believe me, we still have a lot to do keeping the Component Association in its positive and lucrative position. We are known as one of the top 10 components at APTA National for our fiscal responsibility and are regarded as a top State in financial matters. It has been a tremendous pleasure working with the Executive Director of APTA TN., Ms. Amy Breedlove, as she is considered to have an extremely important role working collaboratively and closely with the Treasurer. Amy and I have had several accomplishments under our leadership approach: Here are a few to mention.
APTA TN.’s success with:
Did You Know this about the Investment Account Review for APTA TN.?
Did You Know that APTA TN. must review any and all continuing education courses even those that are Ethics, Jurisprudence, Dry Needling, and all other courses effective December 29, 2025? We do. This is another valuable source of income to the Component Association of TN. Other States do this process as well. Please allow me to continue to work as your Treasurer along with Amy and her team to financially follow through on this new process. The opportunity gives us excellent efficiency that the new website provides in allowing us to go forward with good initiatives for the members.
So, as one can see, your current Treasurer has been busy working with Amy and the Association in improving our financial performance as a Component Chapter and will continue to act on the members’ part in identifying those initiatives that will benefit members.
Again, the Executive Committee have some tremendous ideas of how we would like to utilize the extra funds for membership recruitment, continuing education opportunities, but also how we can reward our members in general, and certainly not forgetting the students or the consumers of this great profession. I would still like to see as Treasurer that APTA TN. has its own Public Service Announcement (PSA) reaching all media outlets in the State so that the consumers of TN. understand the benefits of physical therapy. We can use some of the funds for further marketing of the PT Profession. I promise to attend all Zoom Calls and personal meetings with our Investment Firm. I have not missed a Treasurer’s Meeting at CSM or at APTA National as this is very important to me in representing you. With Amy’s financial knowledge and background, the Association will look for new and more innovative revenue producing ideas going forward.
Help me to keep the APTA TN. financially sound so we can do more for our patients and for you, our members!
Jennifer Cunningham, PTA
Jennifer Cunningham is a PTA from the Knoxville district and has been active in the APTATN since graduating in 2009 with her A.S. from South College and earned her B.S. in Health Sciences (Post PTA) in 2022. She has held offices at the different levels of the APTA. She has held a seat at district level since 2020 as Secretary, state level as Vice Chair of the PTA SIG 2019-2020, and as the PTA SIG Chair since 2021. In 2025, she was elected for the 2026 HOD Delegate at Large position.
I am seeking re-election for the 2027 Delegate at Large seat, and would like your support and vote for the 2027 year. During the 2026 term I have learned so much more on how our governing body works, shaping and forming policies that affect both PT’s and PTA’s governing body. The HOD is also concerned with protecting the future of our practice, and keeping our profession relevant in the ever changing world of health care.
Please vote for me, Jennifer Cunningham so that I may continue to represent the PT’s and PTA’s of Tennessee.

I have been a member of the Tennessee HODs for about 25 years now, taking time off as needed here and there, giving others the opportunity to get engaged in the House, but I am one who absolutely loves serving the members of TN. while in the House so we can get things accomplished for the profession. The major emphasis in the House is the topic of “Payment,” and one can tell the APTA is directly taking this topic up currently. The question of Governance will be studied further for more years to come as well. I am very much “pro PTA initiatives.” I can only hope that I bring the experience needed to help mentor the new TN. Delegates, but I also have the experience in trying to write resolutions/motions needed to improve the profession of Physical Therapy. I take the Delegate’s role seriously and will always rely on the members at home as to what direction they would like us to take on certain topics presented. A good Delegate also takes the time to research all the candidates in the electoral process as we only need the best leaders for APTA National to direct the PT Profession in the right direction.
Thank You.
