APTA Tennessee is excited to offer the opportunity to showcase the high quality research that is being conducted in Tennessee. Accepted research posters are displayed each year at the APTA TN Spring Meeting in the Exhibit area. Presenters must be present to answer questions at the “poster review” time. Information for submission of an abstract for the APTA TN poster presentation is listed on the APTA TN website as “Guidelines for Submission of Abstract for Poster Presentation.” The deadline for submission of the proposal has been extended to March 2, 2026 at 11:59pm CST.Send the completed abstract, following all guidelines, to Derek Charles PT, DPT, dcharles@tnstate.edu with “APTA TN Spring 2025 Poster Presentation” in the subject line of the email.
Poster abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the APTA TN Research Committee. Decisions regarding acceptance of posters for presentation will be sent via e-mail to the primary author with time allowed for preparation of the posters.
1. Seed Money Grants – designed to assist with initiating new research
2. Dissemination Grants – designed to assist with dissemination of information gathered from a completed project
Applicants should review and complete the appropriate application. Application deadlines are due by November 30 at 11:59pm CST for the fall cycle and March 1 at 11:59 pm CST for the spring cycle.
